Join us in this special four week series where you will learn how to drum your way to inner balance.
Have you been looking for a way to slow down and reconnect with yourself? Would you like to find a way to refocus your thoughts and energy? Do you need a way to de-stress? Recreational drumming is a fun way to help with mindfulness, stress reduction, brain function, and so much more!
In this series taught by local musician Amber Tjeerdsma, you will learn how to play the basic strokes on a frame drum, how to play rhythms, how to drum with intention, and how to create your own rhythms. Most importantly, you will learn how to utilize drumming to calm your mind, body and heart.
No prior musical experience is necessary and participants will receive a drum as part of the program.
