Keeping Kith Weekend Retreat: Community, Creativity & Connection

Join writer, musician, and ecosystem-specific storyteller Eliza Blue (Roots & Grass Theater Co.) and psychotherapist, yoga and meditation teacher Nicole Stone (Dharma Wellness Institute) for a rustic weekend of gathering, listening, and imagining what community healing can become when it grows organically from the people who are present.

Rather than following a fixed curriculum, we'll spend the weekend sharing skills, stories, meals, music, and meaningful conversation while exploring what it means to belong—to ourselves, to one another, and to the more-than-human world. Together we'll gather ideas, practices, and experiences that may inform future community healing retreats and creative collaborations.

The weekend will include participant-led skill sharing, mindfulness practices, sheep meditation, live music and a sound bath with Eliza Blue and Nicole Stone, shared meals, quiet time in nature, and plenty of space for rest, reflection, and spontaneous connection.

This is a rustic retreat. Participants are encouraged to bring a camper, van, or tent. Limited beds are available in the shared campers on a first-come, first-served basis. Expect outhouses, outdoor showers, prairie skies, and the simple comforts of life close to the land.

If you're curious about creativity, healing, community, and the possibility of building new ways of belonging together, we invite you to come help shape what emerges.

Thursday, August 20th – Sunday, August 23rd

Check in will be Thursday evening. We'll share a meal and set intentions for our time together. We'll wrap up our time together after breakfast on Sunday.

With gratitude-

-Eliza & Nicole
